New Keystone Downlight Features Improve Customization and Convenience

It’s bigger. More accessible. With improved flow, enhanced capabilities, and tremendous opportunities for growth. Keystone Technologies’ new Kansas City, Missouri, distribution center is a tribute to our core value to “grow passionately” every day.

In recent years, as part of an effort to regulate mercury-containing consumer products, state governments within the United States have begun passing legislation prohibiting the sale and distribution of linear fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, and mercury vapor high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps.

With the end of the ENERGY STAR rebate incentives to promote ENERGY STAR-certified lamps and luminaires in the marketplace, these products – including several from Keystone – will no longer use the ENERGY STAR name or mark.

Emergency backup batteries are a vital part in ensuring the continued operation of lighting during a loss of power – but the process of shipping them, activating them at installation, and wiring them is rife with complications. Keystone has addressed these issues with a new feature called autoBC – a design feature that automatically turns battery power on (or puts it to sleep when the test button is held down).
