Keystone’s SmartSafe LED Emergency Back-up Solutions Win Multiple Industry Awards

NORTH WALES, PA: April 11, 2017 – Keystone Technologies, a leading manufacturer of quality-driven lighting solutions for over 70 years, is proud to announce the receipt of numerous industry recognitions for its SmartSafe LED Emergency Back-up Lighting product line. SmartSafe is an innovative and easy-to-install family of solutions which enable the incorporation of emergency lighting capabilities into a broad range of direct-wire LED tube, fluorescent, and standard LED fixtures.

During the recent 2017 Annual Conference of the National Association of Innovative Lighting Distributors (NAILD) in Orlando, Keystone’s SmartSafe was awarded ‘Best Overall Product’ as well as the top product within the ‘Driver/Ballast’ category.  The recognitions follow Keystone’s receipt of NAILD’s ‘Best Overall Product’ Award in 2016 for its line of FutureFit LED retrofit kits.

Keystone’s SmartSafe also achieved winning status in the ‘Power Sources’ category within Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) Magazine’s 2017 ‘Product of the Year’ Competition, an annual initiative which has recognized the most ground-breaking, inventive, safe, and energy-efficient products in the electrical contracting arena since 2000.

According to Josh Brown, Keystone’s Vice President of Distributor Sales, “we’re thrilled that our SmartSafe line was the center of attention at the recent NAILD conference and that it was recognized for the value it brings to distributors, contractors, and end users alike.  Our SmartSafe kit includes not only the battery and LED driver but also an LED module, making it possible to add an emergency lighting capability to almost any LED or fluorescent light fixture and ensure reliable and continuous lighting operation in the event of a power failure.”

“We’re very proud of our family of SmartSafe emergency back-up lighting solutions and honored that the product line was recognized by both NAILD and EC&M, two long-standing and highly-respected institutions in the electrical products industry,” shared Keystone CEO Ira Greenberg.  “Keystone is fully committed to the research and development of new products and to bringing visionary LED solutions to our customers.”
